holiday baked goods needed

Share the Sweetness of the Season

A simple pie, a batch of cookies, a tray of pastries—your sweet contribution helps fill the day with warmth and holiday cheer for every guest we serve.

Add a Little Joy to Every Plate

We gratefully welcome donations of homemade or commercially prepared non-perishable baked goods—pies, cakes, cookies, and pastries—to share with our guests at the Christmas Dinner and our Sidewalk Coffee & Pastry Café located in the welcoming tent out front.

Sign-ups for donations will open alongside volunteer registration. To be notified when registration begins, please subscribe to our newsletter below.

What to Donate

  • Pies & Cakes (non-perishable only; no cream, custard, mousse, or anything requiring refrigeration)

  • Cookies & Pastries (sturdy items that hold well at room temperature)

  • Special-Diet Options: a few No-Sugar, Low Sugar, Gluten-Free, and Vegan items are appreciated

  • Fresh Bananas for guests with dietary needs

Please avoid: icings/fillings that require refrigeration, raw-egg frostings, whipped cream, and items with alcohol.

Homemade Food Rules

Homemade donations are welcome within food-safety guidelines.
Please review our Home-Prepared Food Guidelines before baking.

Label every item with:

  • Item name (e.g., “Oatmeal Raisin Cookies”)

  • Allergen notes (e.g., contains: wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts)

  • Special-diet tags if applicable (Gluten-Free, Vegan, No-Sugar, Low Sugar)

Packaging tips: wrap securely, use disposable trays, and avoid glass if possible.

Thank You

Your treats help make the day feel festive, welcoming, and full of care. Because of you, our guests enjoy not only a hearty meal—but a sweet holiday moment, too.
